About The Position

The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD's brand promise at a store location by accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. This position involves processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Teller experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately on the teller line or platform.
• Open new accounts and educate customers on banking products and services.
• Build trust with customers through educational content and tools.
• Provide consultative support and proactive insights to customers.
• Identify customer financial needs and promote appropriate products and services.
• Manage self-generated leads and partner referrals to deepen customer relationships.
• Engage in lobby leadership and orchestrate customer walk-in traffic.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external audit and regulatory requirements.
