About The Position

The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD's brand promise at a store location. This position is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The associate engages with customers to build trust, provide consultative support, and promote banking products and services, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Teller experience preferred.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately on the teller line or platform.
• Open new accounts and educate customers on banking products and services.
• Provide consultative support and financial advice to customers.
• Manage customer relationships through lead management activities.
• Schedule and manage client meetings to ensure timely service.
• Engage in lobby leadership and assist with customer inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external audit and regulatory requirements.
• Complete required job-specific and compliance-related training.
