About The Position

The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD's brand promise at a store location by accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. This position involves engaging with customers, building trust, and promoting banking products and services while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Teller experience preferred.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete everyday banking transactions on the teller line or platform.
• Open new accounts and educate customers on all banking products and services.
• Provide consultative support and advocate with proactive insights and recommendations.
• Utilize TD's systems and tools to engage with customers and deepen relationships.
• Identify customer financial needs and promote appropriate products and services.
• Manage self-generated leads and partner referrals to enhance customer relationships.
• Engage in lobby leadership and orchestrate customer walk-in traffic.
• Ensure compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.
