About The Position

Sound Credit Union is currently seeking a Banker / Universal Associate II to join the team at their Southcenter Branch. Sound Credit Union offers a unique Branch Progression Model designed for advancement and salary increases through on-the-job training. The target salary range for this position is $22.50 - $25.00, with a full salary range of $22.50 – $27.50, depending on experience and education. Branch employees are eligible for quarterly incentives tied to products and services, and a monetary incentive when the branch meets quarterly goals and passes audits. This position includes a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus, paid in two installments. Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a teller or equivalent customer facing banking experience.
  • Experience in opening new accounts and loans required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be bondable.
  • Employer sponsorship to secure or maintain employment authorization not available.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, etc.
  • Open new consumer accounts including: savings, checking, money market, certificates of deposit, minor accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA’s), Health Savings Accounts etc.
  • Accept, review, and process consumer loans.
