We are seeking dependable and professional Bank Security Officers to support daily security operations at our banking locations. This role is responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, safeguarding customers and employees, protecting bank assets, and responding promptly to incidents or emergencies. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced financial environment.
Requirements
- Security License: Valid Nevada PILB Security Guard Card (required)
- Experience: Previous security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience preferred
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Customer Service: Ability to interact professionally with customers, staff, and visitors
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills and situational awareness
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts consistently
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to respond quickly to emergencies
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors as required
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds if necessary
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence within the bank branch to deter theft, fraud, and unauthorized activity
- Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas
- Observe customer and employee activity to identify suspicious behavior or potential security risks
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with general inquiries when appropriate
- Enforce bank policies and security procedures in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate security documentation
- Collaborate with bank management, law enforcement, and emergency personnel when necessary
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility, including interior and exterior areas
- Support loss prevention and risk management initiatives to protect bank assets and operations
