About The Position

The Bank Operations Vault Specialist at Regions is responsible for managing and supplying coin and currency to various functional units. This role involves monitoring vault cash levels, placing orders with the Federal Reserve Bank, verifying cash received, and performing vault support services. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 50 pounds for positions within physical vaults
• 3 years of customer service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Strong math skills
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Nice To Haves

• Banking or branch experience
• Cash handling experience

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains established levels of vault cash
• Places orders for cash from the Federal Reserve Bank as needed
• Verifies sums of coin and currency received from functional units, customers, and branch associates
• Contacts appropriate sender in case of error
• Prepares and ships excess coin and currency to the Federal Reserve Bank or other functional units as needed
• Performs vault support services tasks
• Answers inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing system
