Bank Operations Funds Transfer Specialist
About The Position
At Regions, the Bank Operations Funds Transfer Specialist performs processing for all regular, restricted, and legal transfers including Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (S.W.I.F.T.) payments and transfers. Primary Responsibilities Enters transfer instructions and performs necessary verifications Handles instruction receipts and authentication Completes processing of end-of-day general ledger entries Executes transactions and maintains records May perform quality reviews to ensure production systems are posting properly Provides advice and guidance to less experienced associates as needed This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of related banking or operations experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- General knowledge of banking procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
