About The Position

The Bank Operations Credit Card Manager at Regions is responsible for overseeing the strategy and management of card operations, specifically focusing on either credit or debit card functions. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, managing operational processes, and leading a team to achieve departmental goals. The manager will also be involved in budget management, performance evaluation, and developing operational procedures to support long-term objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Ten (10) years of related banking or operations experience.
  • Five (5) years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all aspects of debit card or credit card operational functions including issuing, transaction authorization, maintenance, and transaction settlement.
  • Manages processing maintenance requests on the Total System Services (TSYS) card platform and provides support for inquiries related to card payments, transfers, returns, account closures, legal subpoenas, and return mail.
  • Responsible for the settlement, reconcilement, payment processing, and second level support of Treasury Management's Purchasing Card and Payroll Card products.
  • Performs business acceptance testing for product implementations and campaigns; handles exceptions, and responds to client inquiries.
  • Oversees daily balancing and reconcilement of various card platforms.
  • Ensures compliance with bank policy and all applicable federal regulations and state laws.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements business plans, operational procedures, and systems which support the department's long-term, strategic objectives.
  • Establishes goals and objectives for the division and evaluates and measures the division's performance against these goals and objectives.
  • Develops and maintains written departmental policies and procedures.
  • Consistently analyzes and reviews workflow for process improvements.
  • Determines departmental structure and allocates resources.
  • Meets established production and quality standards.
  • Manages departmental budget.
  • Provides coaching and career leadership development for supervisors and team leaders.
  • Prepares reports and analyzes key metrics.
