The Bank Manager guides, directs, and coaches employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects. This role involves understanding customer needs to provide sales and service, advising on financial products and strategies, and identifying referral opportunities to other business groups. The manager supports sales and customer service activities to meet strategic customer experience and profitability goals, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and Bank policies. For U.S. Only, this position acts as an originator of consumer loans and requires Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, along with a criminal background and credit history evaluation. The role also involves fostering a culture aligned with BMO's purpose and values, building interdependent teams, attracting and developing talent, and managing team performance. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a branch business plan, conducting sales calls, building a community network, resolving customer issues, implementing new programs, monitoring performance, providing training, and managing branch expenses. The manager is expected to maintain current knowledge of the personal banking and credit card industries, ensure confidentiality, report suspicious activities, and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.
