About The Position
At USAA, we have an important mission: facilitating the financial security of millions of U.S. military members and their families. The Bank Business Process Consultant Senior will work on the Funds Availability product team within the Omni Channel and Payments organization, focusing on deposit account restriction governance. This role requires a deep understanding of bank processes and products, acting as a trusted advisor to internal clients in areas such as strategic sourcing, supplier management, and risk management. The consultant will collect and consolidate demand, identify opportunities, and execute business process solutions to enhance the efficient operation of the Bank. The consultant will engage with key stakeholders to implement balanced strategic solutions and develop business process improvements that align with the Bank's strategy and risk management framework. They will lead planning and execution efforts for complex projects, applying a holistic understanding of risk and regulatory compliance to manage risks effectively. The consultant will also provide consultation to ensure processes are designed to address risk across all activities, review and develop communication and change management plans, and ensure alignment between internal stakeholders and customers. Utilizing data and analytics, the consultant will deliver insights into customer and business process performance, identifying opportunities to influence activities and advise stakeholders. They will ensure that risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
