About The Position

The Bandsaw Pallet Repair Technician (PR) is responsible for dismantling pallets and processing reusable components using bandsaw and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. You will identify damaged pallets, break them down, and sort usable versus unusable materials to support efficient pallet repair and rebuild operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in pallet repair, woodworking, construction, lumber processing, or a similar hands-on role (preferred but not required).
Knowledge of operating industrial bandsaws and other mechanical saws, including basic use and maintenance (preferred).
Ability to work with high-powered saws and production machinery in a fast-paced assembly line environment while meeting or exceeding daily goals and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects, imperfections, and quality issues in pallet components.
Commitment to operating tools and equipment safely and following all safety rules and protocols.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; any combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Ability to work cooperatively with others on a production team.

Responsibilities

Dismantle pallets using industrial bandsaws and multiple types of pallet breakdown equipment to meet quality and production expectations.
Partner with team members to operate production equipment precisely and consistently to ensure high-quality output.
Perform daily inspections of bandsaw and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
Adjust and control equipment settings as needed for different pallet types and materials.
Evaluate pallet components to determine usability and ensure they meet PLA quality standards.
Stack, sort, and store reusable materials in designated areas and properly dispose of unusable components.
Maintain established production rates while meeting safety and quality goals.
Keep your workspace clean, orderly, and compliant with safety protocols to reduce accidents.
Escalate technical, safety, or process issues to leadership immediately.
Follow all company policies and procedures, including federal and state safety regulations.
