About The Position
Under the supervision of the Athletic Director, the Band Director has administrative responsibilities and instructional oversight for the band program including the management of the recruitment, retention, and success of the program. This includes, but is not limited to: conducting ensembles/bands, teaching instrumental music courses as deemed necessary by the office of Academic Affairs, direct, and develop the instrumental music program including performance ensembles. The Band Director will also actively recruit students and provide a positive and encouraging environment for collegiate level learning.
