About The Position

A detail-oriented and efficient Bamboo Food Runner is responsible for ensuring all food orders are accurately prepared and presented according to outlet specifications. Skilled in coordinating timing between kitchen preparation and front-end operations to maintain seamless service, especially during high-volume periods. Committed to supporting coworkers and contributing to team goals while adhering to all outlet policies and procedures. Dedicated to continuously improving service standards and operational efficiency to enhance the overall guest experience. FOUR DIAMOND SERVICE AGREEMENT All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Customer Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort and Casino.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Six months of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Obtain and maintain a Gaming License

  • Tips Certified
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenges while maintaining a professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in multi-tasking and time management.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, comprehension).
  • Build effective relationships with staff and guests.
  • Receptive to supervisor direction.
  • Available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Assist guests professionally and meet their needs.
  • Coordinate food orders between kitchen and service staff for timely delivery.
  • Verify plate accuracy before serving and ensure proper food presentation.
  • Inspect dishes for quality, temperature, and portion standards.
  • Communicate with chefs and servers to prioritize orders during peak times.
  • Manage ticket times and adjust pacing based on guest needs.
  • Arrange and garnish plates per outlet specifications.
  • Monitor ticket queues and relay special requests to kitchen staff.
  • Perform side work: restocking, cleaning, and organizing dishware.
  • Maintain a clean expediter area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
  • Adhere to company policies and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and report unsafe conditions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
