The Baler is responsible for ensuring our production operations are kept clean and safe and that all waste is collected and baled for disposal/recycling. Safety is vital to this position both from a standpoint of keeping our production floor clear of hazards, and using baling machines in a safe and appropriate manner.

Knowledge of safe manufacturing practices.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Walks production floor and collects paper waste / removes all materials that may pose a hazard to other employees.
Uses baling machines to bales all waste paper and stage bales for disposal / recycling.
Ensures areas around machines and walkways are kept clear of obstructions and are safe.
Sweep and organize the work area around the baling machines and ensure waste carts are stored properly.
Work safely at all times.
