Requirements

• Must have a valid forklift operator license
• Ability to read general information or short instructions such as lists, notes and labels
• Ability to write in order to accomplish such tasks as completing forms or communicating simple instructions
• Ability to perform basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Ability to carry out tasks which require a sequence of steps usually performed in a particular order - the problems are routine and easy to recognize
• Ability to make decisions that are short-range and usually affect only a small group or work team
• Ability to complete tasks as assigned by others with occasional directions
• Ability to communicate to explain or interpret well-defined business issues or procedures, following established patterns

Responsibilities

• Ensures that bales are properly tied by the automatic tie baler
• Remove carton waste from /cut and finishing departments
• Shred all carton waste
• Remove finished bales from baler using the forklift to proper staging area and load waste truck with finished bales
• Use air-gun to blow excess dust and waste from baler/sweep up excess waste from bale room
• Perform various other assignments as required
