About The Position

The Baler Operator is responsible for operating baling equipment to compress and package recyclable materials or waste products in accordance with safety and quality standards. This role supports efficient facility operations by ensuring materials are processed and staged correctly for disposal or reuse.

Responsibilities

• Operate baler machinery safely and efficiently to compress corrugate or other materials.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baling area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on baling equipment.
• Record production data and material weights as required.
• Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
• Support other facility operations as assigned.
