We are seeking a Balancer to ensure the correct balance and alignment of rotating components, such as wheels, shafts, and other machinery parts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in balancing roles a plus.
  • Operating balancing equipment a plus
  • The ability to interpret technical specifications and measurements a plus
  • Must be mechanically inclined and have an aptitude for mechanical measurement.

Responsibilities

  • Operate balancing machines and tools to balance rotating components according to technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Set up and calibrate balancing equipment, including adjusting parameters and ensuring proper alignment and load distribution.
  • Inspect and measure components before and after balancing to ensure they meet tolerance and performance requirements.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to imbalance, vibration, or alignment by making necessary adjustments and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of balancing operations, including measurements, adjustments, and any issues encountered during the process.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on balancing equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of the machinery.
  • Ability to use the following tools: electrical assembly tools, multimeter, test supply, forklift, and lugger.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with industry standards.
