About The Position

Great Plains Beef is looking for a Baking Assistant to produce high quality baked goods for our retail store, The Mercato, and our Italian steakhouse restaurant, Casa Bovina. As a Baking Assistant you will be primarily responsible for assisting our Baker in the production of a variety of breads, gelato, and assorted pastries.

The Baking Assistant will prepare baked goods according to recipes and production specifications. The Baking Assistant will also work closely with our head baker in creating new recipes. Responsibilities include dough/pastry production, packaging baked goods, filling orders for the Mercato and Casa Bovina, properly rotating product inventory, and following proper sanitation guidelines. Some baking experience is preferred but not required. Assume other duties as assigned.
