About The Position
The Bakery Prep Associate supports daily bakery operations by preparing, packaging, and stocking baked goods while maintaining Stoltzfus Meats standards for product quality, cleanliness, and customer presentation. This role assists with production tasks, display maintenance, and general bakery organization to ensure the department remains well-stocked and ready to serve customers.
Requirements
- Food service, bakery, or production experience helpful but not required
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Dependable with strong attendance
- Willingness to learn bakery production processes
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in warm and cold environments near ovens
- Ability to perform repetitive preparation tasks
Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, and package baked goods for retail display
- Assist with oven production and daily bakery preparation tasks
- Label products accurately and maintain proper product rotation
- Restock bakery displays throughout the day
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery work areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist the Bakery Manager and team with daily production needs
- Provide friendly customer service when assisting with bakery items
