About The Position
Le Petit Four is seeking a dedicated Bakery Prep Assistant to join our team as we expand our operations from our current location in Needham to a new store in Wellesley, MA, set to open in the Fall of 2024. As a French family-owned bakery, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, using carefully-sourced ingredients from France to create exceptional baked goods. The Bakery Prep Assistant will play a crucial role in the successful operation of both the bread and pastry departments, ensuring that our high standards are met consistently. In this position, you will be responsible for scaling wet and dry ingredients according to recipe specifications, assembling and preparing equipment for use, and managing inventory of dry goods. Attention to detail, speed, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential. This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of professional baking alongside experienced French bakers, contributing to the creation of some of the best bread and pastries in New England. As we prepare for the opening of our new store, we are looking for individuals who are passionate about baking and eager to learn.
