  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and perform frequent physical tasks (standing, bending, twisting, reaching).
  • Ability to maintain predictable attendance, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to read and comprehend guidelines, instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality customer service in alignment with company standards.
  • Oversee bakery department operations, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Train, supervise, and support bakery staff.
  • Plan daily and weekly production and ensure product quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness of bakery work areas, prep spaces, and display cases.
  • Ensure compliance with food‑safety and employee‑safety regulations.
  • Assist customers, provide samples, promote products, and take bakery orders.
  • Manage inventory, record keeping, and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
  • Prepare doughs, batters, icings, and operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and slicers.
