Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, kitchen management, or restaurant management within the food industry
- Excellent leadership, team management, and staff training abilities
- Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, and food safety standards
- Experience in supervising fast-paced environments such as quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management
- Culinary experience with a focus on bakery products is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training & development initiatives
- Knowledge of food handling regulations, catering, or banquet experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily bakery operations, including food preparation, baking, and presentation standards
- Manage staff training, development, and scheduling to ensure efficient shift coverage
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels using POS systems.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Maintain quality control to uphold product consistency and freshness
- Coordinate with vendors for ingredient procurement and manage delivery schedules
- Assist in menu planning and product development to meet customer preferences
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue
- Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive team environment
