About The Position

Lead line performance at an iconic Chicago bakery We’re looking for a results-driven people leader to run a key production line and build enduring technical capability on the floor. Your impact Translate site objectives into measurable line and unit targets across safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale. Plan and control budgets, manage costs, and ensure governance and compliance. Apply TPM and Six Sigma to eliminate losses and sustain gains (qualified through AM Steps 5–6 and PM Step 3). Maintain assets at basic conditions and uphold AM/PM standards on dedicated equipment (AM Step 4, PM Step 3; break-down and planned maintenance). Build a high-performing team: recruit, retain, develop, succession plan, and identify high-potential talent; lead effectively in a union environment. What you’ll need to succeed Experience leading line teams with strong written and verbal communication and meticulous attention to detail. Tact and composure when navigating challenging interpersonal situations. Hands-on autonomous and progressive/planned maintenance capability on production assets. Continuous improvement mindset using TPM and Six Sigma methodologies. Where and when you’ll work 100% on-site at our Chicago Bakery, 7300 S Kedzie Ave, Chicago IL 60629. Primary assignment is first shift; other shift options may be considered. Rewards Base salary: $83,800–$115,225 (dependent on experience, skills, education, and budget). Annual bonus eligibility with opportunity for overachievement tied to performance and company results.
