About The Position

The District Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple bakery locations, ensuring operational excellence, brand consistency, and outstanding guest experiences. This role provides leadership and support to Bakery Managers and their teams while driving sales growth, operational performance, and team development across the district. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coaching teams, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience while upholding the standards of the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of multi-unit management experience (restaurant, retail, or hospitality preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Proven ability to drive sales and operational performance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze reports and operational metrics
  • Willingness to travel regularly between bakery locations
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during bakery visits
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to travel between bakery locations as needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple bakery locations within the district.
  • Ensure all bakeries follow brand standards, operational procedures, and food safety guidelines.
  • Monitor bakery performance including sales, labor, food cost, and operational metrics.
  • Conduct regular bakery visits to coach teams and ensure operational excellence.
  • Recruit, train, and develop Bakery Managers and leadership teams.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning within the district.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and results.
  • Drive sales performance and local marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with bakery teams to identify opportunities to increase traffic and guest engagement.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results.
  • Ensure every bakery consistently delivers a warm, welcoming guest experience.
  • Review guest feedback and implement improvements to maintain high satisfaction scores.
  • Lead initiatives to maintain strong OSAT (Guest Satisfaction) performance.
  • Support bakery teams with production planning, inventory management, and staffing.
  • Ensure bakeries are prepared for seasonal promotions, holidays, and high-volume periods.
  • Collaborate with leadership to execute company initiatives and operational improvements.
