About The Position
We are seeking a friendly, dependable Deli & Bakery Clerk to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards in both departments.
Requirements
- Must be able to work various environmental temperatures.
- Must have a flexible schedule to work weekdays evenings and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Zero to One (0-1) years produce/grocery experience
- One (1) year experience in Bakery setting
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers at the deli and bakery counters.
- Take and prepare customer orders, including slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling products.
- Stock, rotate (FIFO), and merchandise deli and bakery items following store guidelines.
- Monitor product quality; remove expired or damaged items.
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work and display areas.
- Ensure accurate pricing and signage.
- Assist with inventory needs and communicate issues to leadership.
- Provide product information and recommendations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
