About The Position

NFI is seeking dedicated Class A CDL drivers for local routes. Drivers will be responsible for hooking pre-loaded trailers and delivering them to up to two delivery points, offloading stacks of baked goods into a warehouse or storage facility. The position offers a consistent schedule with home time daily, working Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with Tuesdays and Saturdays off.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant tractor-trailer experience
• Acceptable references from past employers
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, including moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg

Responsibilities

• Hook pre-loaded trailers and deliver them to up to two delivery points
• Offload stacks of baked goods into a warehouse or storage facility
• Perform all duties safely and responsibly
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards and guidelines
• Report all problems with equipment, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after routes
• Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
• Perform routes, pickups, and deliveries based on customer requirements
