About The Position
As a Bakery Clerk at Bashas', you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers have a memorable shopping experience. This position requires a responsible and friendly individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service. You will be tasked with executing a variety of responsibilities across different departments within the store, ensuring that all customers receive the assistance they need. Your role will involve maintaining safety and sanitation standards throughout the store, which is crucial for the health and well-being of both customers and staff. Additionally, you will be expected to perform various related duties as assigned by your supervisors, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the store operations. The Bakery Clerk position is not just about working behind the counter; it is about engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing them with the best possible service. You will be the face of our store, and your interactions will leave a lasting impression on our customers. This role requires a commitment to teamwork and a willingness to assist in various departments as needed, making it essential for you to be adaptable and ready to take on new challenges as they arise. In this position, you will also experience various physical demands, including standing, sitting, lifting and stocking items (up to 50 lbs), pushing, keyboarding, telephone use, walking, and bending. These physical activities are integral to the role and will be part of your daily routine as you work to keep the store running smoothly and efficiently.
