About The Position

Zuppardo’s Family Market, family owned and operated, has been a staple in the community for over 90 years, providing delicious food, great value and exceptional service. We are looking for professional, service orientated Bakery clerks to help us carry on that tradition Bakery clerks are friendly, personable, reliable , energetic, and team driven individuals who are ready to work in a fast paced environment. They must be detail oriented and able to multitask, packaging and other assignments, while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bakery, grocery, or customer service role preferred
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with purchases
• Package and label bakery items
• Stock displays and ensure products are fresh and visually appealing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Support bakers as needed
