Bakery clerks are responsible for displaying said goods and items. Clerks will also operate scales, slicers, as well as wrap and price items within the bakery department. They will ice pastries, decorate cakes; fill displays while also assisting customers with purchases and any other tasks assigned by management. Bakery clerks are responsible for maintaining a clean work area and following all safety rules set in place by the store. They must adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.
