About The Position

The role of a Bakery Clerk at Kroger is to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service and encourage other associates to do the same. As a Bakery team member, you will establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. The Bakery Clerk assists the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and monitors all established quality assurance standards. Most importantly, a Bakery team member should demonstrate Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Responsibilities

• Creates an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service while encouraging other associates to do the same
• Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return
• Assists the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department
