Requirements

Experience in cake decorating, including icing, piping, writing, and basic fondant techniques.
Strong artistic ability and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and specialty desserts following Meijer standards and customer specifications.
Create custom designs for birthdays, weddings, holidays, and special events.
Maintain a clean, organized, and food‑safe work environment.
Ensure product availability by managing daily production and prepping items in advance.
Assist customers with design ideas, order placement, and product recommendations.
Package, label, and merchandise bakery items for display.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
