About The Position
Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop. Part time Photo cake Specialist - Cake Decorator Willing to train Position Description: Decorating cakes, cupcakes, and other desserts according to the standards and customer preferences.
Requirements
- Entry level position; no prior experience required but preferred
- Safely use knives, spatula, piping bags and tips
- Artistic/Design skills
- Basic computer skills
- Great customer service
- Good communication, both written and oral
- Great work ethic
- Active listener
- Honest
Responsibilities
- Decorating desserts for customer orders or display cases
- Filling Cannoli’s, icing cupcakes, decorating fruit cakes
- Adhering to all health, sanitation and safety regulations
- Rotate products on display
- Perform other duties, as assigned
