About The Position
The Bakery/Asst Dept Leader is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, establishing and maintaining a safe, clean environment, achieving sales and profit goals for the department, controlling quality assurance standards, and monitoring all functions and activities related to the Bakery department. This role also requires demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Smith’s Food and Drug, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998. It currently serves customers in over 140 stores across Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. Responsibilities
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
- Establish and maintain a safe, clean environment that encourages our customers to return.
- Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department.
- Control all established quality assurance standards.
- Monitor all functions, duties and activities related to the Bakery department.
