About The Position

The Bakery Associate is responsible for maintaining presentable and adequately filled shelves and display cases. This role involves wrapping, packaging, and pricing all products accurately and legibly, as well as filling customer orders and providing exceptional customer service. The associate will also remove products from the freezer when instructed, set up and put out bakery items for use by the baker, and rotate products while removing out-of-code items. A thorough knowledge of all products sold within the department is essential, along with maintaining a regular cleaning and sanitation program. The associate will refer unusual or difficult customer problems to a manager for prompt attention and perform other duties as directed or required by company policies.

Requirements

• Friendly personality and customer service mentality
• Good mathematic skills to operate scales & computers and to coordinate dates for inventory rotation
• Good verbal and written communications skills
