About The Position
The Bakery Associate is responsible for maintaining presentable and adequately filled shelves and display cases, wrapping, packaging, and pricing all products accurately and legibly. The associate will fill customer orders as requested while providing exceptional customer service. Other responsibilities include removing products from the freezer when instructed, setting up and putting out bakery items for use by the baker, rotating products, and removing out-of-code items. The associate must maintain knowledge of all products sold within the department and adhere to a regular cleaning and sanitation program. Unusual or difficult customer problems should be referred to a manager for prompt attention, and the associate may perform other duties as directed or required by company policies.
