About The Position

Bakery Assistant Walters Hospitality We are seeking a talented and creative Bakery Assistant to join our team at our Ashton Gardens Atlanta location. As a Bakery Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the bakery chef's needs on baking, decorating, and creating high-quality cakes for our customers. The role requires an individual with both culinary expertise and a strong attention to detail, who can manage ordering supplies, production, and ensure the consistency of our products. Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is actively seeking professional, self-motivated, skilled cake decorators to create dream wedding cakes for our Brides in a fun working environment. Job Overview and Requirements: Location: Sugar Hill, GA Job Hours: Part-Time, Hourly (2-3 Days a Week) Pay: $16-$18 per hour Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent, culinary degree preferred Required Experience: Minimum 1 years of cake decorating experience Certifications: ServSafe Food Handlers or equivalent Physical Requirements: Able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for baking cakes, desserts and cake decorating.
  • Must be familiar with basic textures such as stone, horizontal, stucco, wedding dots and palette.
  • Must have a working knowledge of food coloring, fondant, edible images, and cake design.
