Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is actively seeking professional, self-motivated, skilled cake decorators to create dream wedding cakes for our Brides in a fun working environment. This person can adapt and learn quickly. This position will be part-time hourly, working between 1-3 days a week depending on need basis. Job Overview and Requirements: Location: Hickory Creek, TX Job Hours: Part-Time, Hourly Pay: $15-$17 per hour

Requirements

• Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent, culinary degree preferred
• Required Experience: Minimum 1 years of cake decorating experience
• Certifications: ServSafe Food Handlers or equivalent
• Physical Requirements: Able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.
• Other: Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify
• Submit/complete background check
• have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Responsible for baking cakes, desserts and cake decorating.
• Must be familiar with basic textures such as stone, horizontal, stucco, wedding dots and palette.
• Must have a working knowledge of food coloring, fondant, edible images, and cake design.
