Baker

About the position

As a Baker, no one day is ever the same. To truly be successful in the position, you will be passionate about baking breads, cookies, and pastries, as well as producing fancy desserts and decorating cakes. Our Bakers also have the secret ingredient for talking to their customers and take pride in what they are baking, making, and decorating. You will work with ovens, mixers, slicers, and proofers to bake products that meet the highest quality, freshness, and safety standards. When you aren’t rising to the occasion for our customers, you’re helping ensure our display cases and shelves are clean, organized, and well-stocked. Our customers are hungry for what we are serving so come join our team and help satisfy their appetites.

Responsibilities

• Bake a variety of products including breads, cookies, pastries, and cakes.
• Decorate cakes and produce fancy desserts.
• Engage with customers and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of display cases and shelves.
• Ensure products meet quality, freshness, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Passion for baking and food preparation.
• Ability to work with baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the role.
• Pride in the quality of work.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a bakery or food service environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards.
