About The Position
The 320 Market Cafe has been in Swarthmore for over 30 years. We are continually evolving and in the 2020, 320 Market Cafe added in-house baked goods to our offerings. We are looking for dependable, capable, and team-oriented individuals who want to work in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment. We are currently hiring for a second baker. Experience required. Serv Safe Certification preferred. Full Time Health Insurance available to full time employees after 90-day probate period. Pooled tips among all hourly employees (average of $4-$6/hr) after 90 day probationary period. PTO and 401k programs.

Responsibilities
- Answer, report, and follow Kitchen Manager's instructions.
- Ensuring all ingredients are appropriately prepped, assembled, and cooked according to restaurant recipes and specifications.
- Regular communication with the Lead Baker, Inventory Manager, Kitchen Manager, and Culinary Director about inventory levels, equipment needs, and supply needs.
- Helping to develop new items and maintaining production levels of all key items from cookies and brownies, to cheesecakes and sheet-cakes.
- Maintaining production levels of doughs and batters.
- Packaging and labeling bakery items for retail.
- Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
