About The Position

At Einstein Bros. Bagels, the company believes in the bagel and has been baking them fresh daily since 1995. They aim to spread joy and happiness through bagels and are committed to work-life balance for their team, with stores closing at 2pm. The Baker is a crucial role, responsible for baking bagels and ensuring quality products are available. Bakers arrive early, sometimes as early as 3 AM, and are involved in stocking the bagel wall and pastry case. They also contribute to excellent guest service by assisting with order taking and sandwich making, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment. The company emphasizes a fun and friendly experience with amazing coffee and fantastic bagels.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations)
• Meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case
• Provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, etc.
• Ensure the quality of the food and beverages served
• Keep a safe and clean store environment
