About The Position

At Einstein Bros. Bagels, the company believes in the bagel and has been baking them fresh daily since 1995. They aim to spread joy and happiness through bagels and are committed to work-life balance for their team, with stores closing at 2pm. The Baker is a crucial role, arriving early (as early as 3AM) to bake the bagels that define the brand. Bakers ensure quality products are available by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case, and work as a team to provide excellent guest service, including order taking and sandwich making. They also maintain a safe and clean store environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations)
• Meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case
• Work as a team to provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, etc.
• Ensure the quality of the food and beverages served
• Keep a safe and clean store environment
