Job Title: Baker Reports To: Bakery Department Manager Are you passionate about baking, pastry and providing exceptional food service quality? We are seeking a Baker to join our team! Our bakery plays a pivotal role in crafting unforgettable experiences for guests' events and everyday moments alike, ranging from special occasions to everyday indulgences. Providing excellent guest service is at the heart of what we do. Whether it's a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you'll handle each interaction with professionalism and care. Your willingness to help guests with what they need will make a positive impact every day. As a Baker at Festival Foods, you will: Recipe & Production Control: Follow recipes and production lists precisely to ensure high-quality bakery and pastry items. Monitor dates and freshness, handle outdated items properly, and report shrinkage. Health & Safety: Adhere to all Health Department guidelines and Festival sanitation practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and dry storage. Guest Service: Provide excellent customer service to our guests by assisting them with finding items, taking special orders, and addressing concerns. Answer phone calls with proper etiquette and ensure guest satisfaction. Stock Monitoring: Keep an eye on stock levels and service floor needs, ensuring proper assortment and production-level, especially for early mornings and evenings. Quality Standards: Maintain food safety logs and ensure all quality standards, including quantity expectations, are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily. Team Collaboration: Work closely with all Bakery associates to meet department goals and support a positive team environment. Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences Support the Team: Other duties as assigned
