About the Role We are seeking a Baker, an exciting opportunity to be part of Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville. You will prepare bread items according to production schedules and banquet event orders that meet our quality standards, while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

Requirements

  • At least 1+ years of baking experience, preferably in hotels or restaurants
  • Schedule flexibility — able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking
  • Ability to multi-task in a high‑volume, demanding environment
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare bread items according to production schedules and banquet event orders, ensuring consistent quality by following recipe cards, production guidelines, portioning, and presentation standards; complete mise en place and set up the station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.
  • Begin preparation of food items made ahead of time, ensuring you do not prepare beyond estimated needs.
  • Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat-top grill.
  • Date all food containers and rotate stock per policies, ensuring all perishables are stored at proper temperatures; check pars for shift needs, determine necessary preparation, freezer pulls, and line setup; identify any out-of-stock items or potential shortages; return unused food items to designated storage areas and ensure all perishables are covered and dated; assist in implementing plans to correct food cost issues; control food waste, loss, and usage according to policies.
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in EmPact.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.
