Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate effectively.
• Mathematical skills for handling money and measurements.
• Common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Meets state minimum requirements to work with bakery equipment.
• Valid State Food Handlers Permit.
• Valid Driver's License or State I.D. Card.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a bakery or food service environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Reporting for assigned shifts on time and regularly.
• Promoting sales by providing high-quality products consistent with company formulas.
• Providing exceptional guest service using skills from training.
• Maintaining proficiency in the production of various bakery products.
• Operating bakery equipment safely and correctly.
• Ensuring accurate production of doughnut varieties and maintaining stock levels.
• Receiving and checking deliveries for quality and quantity.
• Communicating and completing guests' special order requests.
• Mentoring new associates and ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Participating in the Bakery Department's accident reduction plan.
