Requirements

  • Working knowledge and basic understanding of all operations in the bakeshop.
  • Working knowledge and basic understanding necessary to bake, mix, including but not limited to wet mixing, dry mixing, creaming, and whipping.
  • Six months of in-house training as a Baker's Helper or at least one year outside training in related fields.
  • Ability to obtain all necessary works cards.

Responsibilities

  • Following Recipe Book and Guidelines; and using all supplies necessary to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Maintaining kitchen and equipment in good working order and ensuring that the work area is clean and hazard-free.
  • Working hands-on in any kitchen environment, including those involving a three-meal period and high volume production.
  • Bake all types of cakes, pies, pastries, breads, and tortes for guest services according to Station Casinos Standards and Specifications.
