About The Position

The Bakery/Packager associate prepares fresh baked items daily for members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise. Requirements

Responsibilities

Prepare fresh baked items daily for members through following recipes.
Wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure the freshest items are available.
Juggling several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders.
Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members.
Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have.
Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team.
Communicate with the members of the team and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, makeup instructions, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
Demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
Utilize hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintaining work area according to company policies and procedures.
Ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items.
Secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
Eliminate waste.
Assist members with purchasing decisions.
Ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Be an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the members experience in bakery area and modeling high quality service and products.
