This role is for a Baker/Fryer, requiring availability from 12am-8am, offering 24-32 hours per week. While not an official description, it outlines the major responsibilities expected. The position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers, assisting with product selections, and processing incoming products from the bakery plant and direct store delivery vendors. Key duties include preparing breads, rolls, doughnuts, and other pastries, including icings and frostings, according to established recipes. The role also involves cutting and weighing dough, molding it into shapes, proofing, and baking in an oven. Quality inspection during and after baking, reviewing production schedules, packaging fresh-baked products, slicing and wrapping bread, stocking and rotating product displays, and preparing outdated products for thrift stores are also part of the job. Additional tasks include baking cookies, recording inventory, ordering stock, completing production sheets, and constantly cleaning the work area and equipment following company safety and sanitation procedures. Other duties will be assigned at the discretion of the store management. Training will be provided at the store level.
