About The Position

At Custom Foods, we employ Great Dough Heroes to create our SQF-certified, industry-leading, frozen dough. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Bake Technician to help ensure our baked products meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good math and record-keeping skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Must be able to climb stairs and lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.

Nice To Haves

Previous baking, food manufacturing, or quality assurance experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Bake and evaluate samples of bread, pizza, and cookie dough for quality and consistency.
Document bake-off results using an electronic tablet and communicate any issues to management for follow-up.
Assist the FSQA (Food Safety & Quality Assurance) Technician with hourly quality checks.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with food safety and plant standards.
Collaborate with and provide assistance to other departments, including Production and Sanitation, to support overall plant operations as needed.
