Position Summary: Bake Assist Employee Description: The Bake Assist Employee role assists other departments as necessary, scooping cake batter, flipping cakes, folding boxes, labeling containers, etc. Compensation: The Bake Assist employee will earn a minimum of $14.00 per hour to start. Candidates may be further compensated based on their drive, ability to learn quickly, and desire to improve. Additional compensation is available, including performance bonuses and other perks.
Responsibilities
- Bakes cakes in all sizes and flavors by diligently following established recipes
- Removes cakes from pans and packages properly
- Puts baked cakes away and rotates cakes according to established brand standards
- Communicates with management about equipment including problems and maintenance
- Folds boxes and labels containers
- Tracks inventory of baked goods
- Keeps baking area clean and sanitized, including tables, equipment, and tools
- Assists other departments as necessary
