About The Position
The Bailiff is responsible for maintaining order, protection, and security operations within the District Court, ensuring the safety of visitors, judges, employees, and the general public. This role involves preparing courtrooms for sessions, maintaining courtroom order, and operating security checkpoint equipment. Bailiffs must exercise practical judgment in routine and emergent situations, assist with evacuations during emergencies, and are considered essential personnel subject to call-in during emergencies or staffing shortages.
